My Chemical Romance
As the peroxide bokeh fades, I see you in a clearer light-
Maiden in a maxi, a feast for my sight
Flaxen beads of sulphur, a conflux of aureolin and amber
Eyes a pretty cobalt blue, an equivalent of the finest sapphire
I never knew your name, to be told
But you gaily sang it in silver and gold
Fly me to the moon, to greater heights
The two of us shimmying amongst neon lights
We laugh, we kiss, we bite, we bleed
The taste of iron lingers on chapped lips
As lead courses through thickened vessels
Conscience and dignity are no longer our angels
Heaven and hell, they want us apart
But only you can crystallize my noxious acid heart
